Giants exist all over the world. Like men, they are not inherently good or evil. Up in the sky piercing mountains overlooking the gnomish alpine settlements there too also dwell giants. The gnomes treat these giants as allies. They gift to them food and clothing in gnomish fashion in exchange for brute labor and military service.
