The Highland Championships are the highlight of the social calendar and a must-see for any tourist visiting this charming region.
Events include:
Caber Tossing
Drinking
Shot-putt
Fighting
Highland Sword-dances
Drinking
More Fighting
Bottle Breaking (basically a combination of drinking and fighting)
And much, much more!* *Although we might have to leave out the Highland Sword-dance, shot-putt and caber tossing if there isnt enough time.
This warband includes a range of devastating improvised weapons, harking back to the glory days of a certain tragic campaign pack with lots of death in it. (If youre too young to get that reference, just ask the nearest old fart at your local wargaming club)
Broken bottles, cabers, shot-putts! What more do you want?
The shaggy beards and tartan kilts will also present a solid challenge to even experienced painters.
These models make a characterful and interesting addition to any human army or band of marauders. Either as reinforcements for a unit of skirmishers or a regiment in their own right.
Sculpted by Andy 'Atom' Taylor
please note the warband consists of 5 miniatures, so the picture obviously shows more than one set of these miniatures.
