GOBLINS : Gobo Vulgaris (common Goblins) are small and repulsive creatures, whose spite and cruelty is exceeded only by their cowardice and lack of personal hygiene. Despite being weak, they have few natural predators- which one must logically put down to their appalling taste and natural tendency to flee at the drop of a hat.
Goblins have no culture worth speaking of, and any musical instrument is judged purely on how loud it is. Their religion is based mainly on shouting, and their legal system is based on the two principles of “I-SAW-IT-FIRST!” and “NO-YOU-DIDN’T!”
However, a word to the wise. Like rats, for each one you see, there are ten hiding in the shadows. Many a foolish traveler has scoffed at the crude pit dug in the middle of the road, only to meet his death at the arrows from the nearby bushes. What Goblins lack in quality, they make up for in quantity- which is a quality all in itself.
When Goblins march to war, they excel at destruction, mayhem, and torture. Towns are burned to ashes, and bones picked clean by hordes of ravaging green warriors. Walls of spears and clouds of arrows darken the sky as they howl for the blood of the civilised races.
